Position Overview
We’re looking for a motivated, self-driven Sales Representative to grow and manage a defined territory. This role focuses on building customer relationships, identifying opportunities, and driving equipment sales in a technical, industrial environment.
This is a great opportunity for someone with sales experience and strong mechanical or technical aptitude who is interested in learning and growing within the polymer processing industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage customer relationships within an assigned territory
- Prospect new accounts and grow existing business
- Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate equipment solutions
- Prepare and follow up on quotes and proposals
- Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, operations) to support sales
- Track opportunities and customer activity using CRM (HubSpot)
- Maintain regular communication with customers to support long-term relationships
- Travel within the territory to meet with customers and support sales efforts
What We’re Looking For
- 2 years of sales, technical sales, or related experience
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Mechanical aptitude or ability to learn technical products
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- Organized and able to manage multiple opportunities at once
- Willingness to travel regularly within the territory
Preferred (but not required)
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or capital equipment sales
- Exposure to polymer processing, extrusion, or similar industries
- Experience working with CRM systems
