Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our warehouse, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining inventory levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations, including experience with shipping and receiving processes, as well as proficiency in using various warehouse management systems.
**this is not an office position but a manual warehouse worker. Forklift exp preferred but not required**
Duties include:
· Process incoming and outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently.
· Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and manage stock levels.
· Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks to load and unload goods safely.
· Maintain an organized warehouse environment by stocking shelves and managing product placement.
· Ensure all packaging meets company standards for shipping.
· Collaborate with the order fulfillment team to pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery.
· Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy in the warehouse management system (WMS).
· Assist in the implementation of best practices for shipping & receiving operations.
· Support e-commerce initiatives by managing online order processing.
Requirements include:
· Standing for long periods of time.
· Attention to detail.
· Bending, Stooping, Twisting.
· Working in fast-paced environment.
· Work well with others.
Required experience:
· Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of shipping & receiving processes.
· Forklift experience is preferred but not required
· HSD/GED required
· STEEL TOE METGUARDS REQUIRED- steel toes alone will not be allowed. they will have to have metatarsals on
