Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of press machines, ensuring high-quality production standards while adhering to safety protocols. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to producing top-notch products that meet customer specifications.
Requirements include:
- Operate and set up stamping presses and press brake machines according to production specifications.
- Perform quality control checks on finished products to ensure compliance with design specifications and standards.
- Utilize hand tools and CAD software for precision adjustments and modifications as needed.
- Interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), to guide production processes.
- Maintain equipment by conducting routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and performing necessary maintenance.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and resolve any operational challenges.
- Document production data accurately, including machine settings, output quantities, and quality control results.
- Standing for long periods of time.
- Attention to detail.
- Bending, Stooping, Twisting.
- Working in fast-paced environment.
- Work well with others.
Required experience:
- HSD/GED required
- Steel toes required
- Proven experience as a Press Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in press operations is advantageous.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks for design interpretation and modification is a plus.
- Strong understanding of quality control processes and standards related to manufacturing.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
