Shipping and Receiving Clerk

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk at Performance Systems Integration (PSI) is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of outgoing and incoming shipments with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction. This position reports to the Technical Operations Manager. In addition to shipping and receiving duties, the Shipping and Receiving Clerk is tasked with inventory, stocking, and small kit assembling. Attention to detail and organizational skills are a must.

• Quality check, pack, and process outgoing shipments using various shipping software from shipping entities software and PSI’s enterprise system.
• Receive and document customer and inventory shipments.
• Interface with shippers to file claims and resolve lost and damaged packages.
• Update PSI enterprise shipping software with tracking information on items shipped direct to customers from our dealers and vendors.
• Update the PSI enterprise shipping software with item size and weight as needed to ensure proper shipping costs are applied.
• Maintain inventory levels of stocked goods and interface with Supply Chain and Manufacturing Management for reorder.
• Maintain inventory of shipping supplies and report to Supply Chain when re-orders are required.
• Assemble, package, label, prepare and stock all kits and inventory items.
• Maintain safe, clean, and efficient workspace and shipping storage areas.

• Read and understand English.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Interest in automotive aftermarket or wiring industry a plus.
• Good organizational skills.
• Attentiveness to detail.
