Senior RF Engineer

Working with RFIC designers, the Senior RF Engineer will define the roadmap from chip specification to delivered packaged die and work collaboratively within the Design Team to model packaging, transitions, and verification approaches that reduce product cost. Opportunities exist for the RF Engineer to develop antenna in package solutions and other unique packaging approaches leverage heterogeneous integration. The team member will also work closely with the manufacturing team. Successful candidates will thrive in a hands-on, independent role.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of radio-frequency and millimeter-wave theories and concepts related to S-parameters, de-embedding, matching, and microwave components.
• Product success in design and modeling of front-end module packaging accounting for parasitics and transitions, etc.
• Knowledge of noise, linearity, mismatch, stability, and analog impairments characterization.
• Knowledge of semiconductor technologies for RF applications.
• Preferred experience with antenna design and co-integration of chips and antennas through packaging.
• Proficient use of Keysight ADS or Cadence AWR for co-design of chip and package.
• Fluency with 3D electromagnetic simulation, e.g. Momentum, Clarity, or HFSS.
• Experience in RF/mm-wave measurements including network analysis, pulsed power, and low noise. Probe station experience is a plus.
• Experience designing test/demo boards, including managing vendors and schedules.
• Strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) and the ability to work effectively with other members of the product development team.
• BS with 12 years experience, MS 7 years, or PhD 5 years in electrical engineering or related field.
  
  

Compensation

Target base salary for this role is $150,000 - $200,00 per year meaningful equity bonus benefits 401k. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, experience, and location.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R.
