The Indirect Loan Officer processes vehicle loan applications submitted by indirect program participants from time of application through decisioning. Serves as first point of contact to handle dealer and member inquiries as they relate to all aspects of the indirect lending program.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 11:00am - 7:00pm

The Indirect Loan Officer processes vehicle loan applications submitted by indirect program participants from time of application through decisioning. Serves as first point of contact to handle dealer and member inquiries as they relate to all aspects of the indirect lending program.

In this position, you will
- Processes loan applications submitted by indirect program participants including third-party refinance companies and other vendors. Adheres to underwriting policies and procedures.
- Reviews required verification documents from dealers and members for accuracy and legitimacy and displays strong problem-solving skills. Coaches dealers as needed to avoid recurring funding delays.
- Displays professionalism; maintains positive and productive relationships with program participants, coaching dealers as needed to ensure proper application submission.
- Responsible for effectively managing risks within the scope of assigned job responsibilities.
- Communicate with members and auto dealerships to acquire information necessary to complete loan processing. Provides detailed comments in reference to conversations with members and dealers concerning all loans.
- Cross-trained to verify documentation for completeness by indirect program participants including third-party refinance companies and other vendors and fund applications.
- Other duties as assigned.
