Concrete Foreman

Working Foreman who manages a construction site’s daily operations to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and on time.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Planning: Reviewing project plans, blueprints, and specifications, and making recommendations

· Scheduling: Developing work schedules and monitoring crew attendance. Must have time management skills with the ability to maintain construction schedule while keeping in mind project goals and budget.

· Managing: Supervising crews, delegating tasks to employees while providing concise instruction and adhering to company standards. Provides leadership to inspire and train both new and existing employees. Troubleshoot routine issues that occur on jobsites.

· Safety: Ensuring safety rules are followed, and enforcing the proper use of PPE, tools and equipment in designated operations and production areas as stated by OSHA.

· Quality: Inspecting projects to evaluate progress, quality, and compliance with plans. Attention to detail and commitment to ensure a high level of quality control throughout the work process.

· Communication: Communication skills to effectively collaborate and work closely with colleagues, supervisors, subcontractors, and owners.

· Budgeting: Monitoring budgeting expenses for workers, supplies, and tools

· Reporting: Daily jobsite inspections, daily equipment and tool inspections, time keeping. Track maintenance schedules for equipment and tools.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILL AND ABILITIES:

· Minimum 3-5 years leadership experience in construction.

· Time management and organizational skills

· Understanding of OSHA regulations and safety practices on construction jobsites.

· Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints effectively

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

· Lift requirement of up to 50 lbs

· Must have valid Driver’s License and DOT physical.

WORK REQUIREMENTS:

· Pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

· Be able to provide valid documentation for I9 documents (DL, Social Security, Birth Certificate)

· Working foreman, with the ability to work 8-10 hours a day, or hours necessary to complete tasks, with occasional weekends.

· Willing to work outdoors in extreme temperatures, both hot and cold.
