The EDI Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting global Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) implementations and ensuring EDI systems, interfaces, and communications operate effectively across the organization. This individual will translate business requirements into technical specifications, develop and maintain EDI mappings and interfaces, troubleshoot production issues, and support day-to-day global EDI operations. The EDI Systems Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders, SAP teams, vendors, and external trading partners while also leading projects designed to improve and automate business processes.
Responsibilities:
- Support daily global EDI operations including production support, administration, scheduling, monitoring, and balancing of EDI transactions
- Identify and implement improvements across EDI processes, system interfaces, policies, and procedures
- Analyze business and technical requirements and assist in developing functional specifications
- Configure and support EDI communication protocols including AS2, VAN, SFTP, FTP, and HTTP(S)
- Manage and update AS2 and SSL certificates
- Design and develop mapping specifications between SAP, external applications, and EDI formats
- Lead EDI-related projects focused on process automation and operational efficiency
- Serve as a primary liaison between business users, technical teams, vendors, and trading partners
- Work closely with SAP Business Analysts to resolve system issues and develop new business processes
- Provide technical and project guidance to internal team members and external consultants
- Develop and maintain system documentation and training materials
- Build, test, and maintain interfaces across SAP, BI, ecommerce, and other enterprise systems
- Support disaster recovery, system continuity, and production transition activities
- Maintain compliance with applicable security, change management, incident management, data security, vulnerability management, and business continuity standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, Information Technology, or related field preferred
- 7–10 years of experience supporting EDI systems and interfaces
- Hands-on experience with Seeburger implementation, configuration, setup, and BIC Mapping Designer
- SAP experience supporting EDI partners, tables, and integrations
- Knowledge of S/4HANA and associated EDI interfaces highly preferred
- Experience with EDI communication protocols including AS2, VAN, SFTP, FTP, and HTTP(S)
- Strong EDI mapping, interface development, troubleshooting, and production support experience
- Understanding of database design, process modeling, and data architecture
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and external partners
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively within a team and matrix environment
Salary : $110,000 - $115,000
