This role focuses on coordinating vehicles and equipment, ensuring compliance, improving performance, and controlling costs. The specialist works closely with drivers, vendors, and internal teams while supporting the Procurement Fleet Manager through data analysis, administrative tasks, and equipment order processing.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manages day-to-day vehicle fleet activities throughout their lifecycles
- Administers vehicle documentation, data, and announcements related to and including,

- Responsible for fuel card and toll tag administration
- Directly supports resolution of driver fuel card issues and assists in troubleshooting and
- Maintain and update data within the fleet and fuel management systems and reconcile
registration
- Supports fleet management leadership and PSC Risk and Insurance with vehicle state
- Prepare management reports as require
- Coordinate with vehicle/equipment suppliers and transporters
- Responsible for new crew truck inspections and acceptance
- Ensures vehicles are road worthy and compliant with local regulations prior to release
- Analyzes and provides decision support for vehicle repair justifications vs. retirement
- Supports fleet management leadership in coordinating availability of vehicle fleet rental
- Assists in ensuring compliance with state and local Department of Transportation (DOT)
intrastate and interstate transportation
- Vehicle/equipment title transfers
- Initial registrations and registration renewals
- International Fuel Tax Agreement: IFTA reporting
- Heavy Highway Vehicle Use Tax Return: 2290 reporting
- Stays current on DOT regulations, and advises of upcoming changes
- Assists with other administrative duties and projects as assigned

- Degreed in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, transportation management, finance, or other technical or analytical compatible fields
- Proficient with fleet and fuel management systems
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, leasing, and familiarity with basic DOT requirements
- Familiar with truck specifications ranging from mid-size trucks to heavy duty trucks
- Familiar with vehicle procurement and fleet contract negotiations
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Effective organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines on a consistent
