Job Description
Are you a skilled laborer with experience in underground utility work? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic? If so, we want you to join our team as a Skilled Laborer II - Underground Utility.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of underground utility systems such as water, sewer, and gas lines.
- Operate heavy machinery and equipment such as excavators, backhoes, and trenchers.
- Perform manual labor including digging trenches, laying pipe, and compacting soil.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project goals are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2 years of experience in underground utility work.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery and equipment.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Willingness to travel from time to time if the project requires
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
