Assistant Manager – Skilled Nursing / Healthcare Facility
Are you a dependable leader with a passion for elderly care and team management?
We are seeking a hands-on Assistant Manager to support daily operations in our nursing home facility. This role requires strong leadership, reliability, and the ability to step in when needed to support both staff and residents.
Schedule
•Primary schedule: Day shift
•On-call required for all shifts including overnight to assist with staff call-outs, emergencies, or operational needs
•Must be willing and ready to report to the facility when coverage or support is needed
What You'll Do
•Support the Facility Managers with daily operations
•Lead, supervise, and support multiple team members across shifts
•Be on-call and available to cover or assist in the event of staff call-outs
•Assist with daily living activities of elderly residents, including mobility, hygiene, bathing, meals, and general care as needed
•Ensure compassionate, respectful care is provided to all residents
•Help maintain compliance with facility policies and healthcare regulations
•Assist with scheduling, attendance, and staff accountability
•Address staff or operational concerns promptly and professionally
•Step in as a leader during high-demand situations to keep operations running smoothly
What We're Looking For
•Proven management and leadership experience
•Previous experience supervising or managing a team
•Experience in a skilled nursing facility, nursing home, assisted living, or healthcare setting
•Medical field education or healthcare background preferred
•Willingness to be hands-on with resident care when needed
•Highly reliable and dependable — punctual, consistent, and accountable
•Comfortable multitasking and managing multiple staff members at once
•Calm, professional, and solutions-oriented under pressure
