Position Details:
- Job Type: Independent Contractor
- Pay: $24– $27 per hour, plus mileage reimbursement
- Expected Hours: 10–40 hours per week (flexible, based on assignment availability)
- Location: Wenatchee, Moses Lake, and surrounding areas

Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate supervised visits in accordance with court orders and referral requirements
- Ensure a safe, structured, and supportive environment for children and families
- Observe, document, and submit accurate electronic visit notes in a timely manner
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality in all client interactions and documentation
- Manage and respond to crises and safety concerns as they arise
- Collaborate with team members to support positive and appropriate family interactions
- Complete required documentation and maintain organized records of services provided
- Participate in ongoing learning to support professional development and service quality
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or higher
- Minimum of 12 months documented paid or volunteer experience working with children
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Reliable personal vehicle available for daily use
- Ability to provide a 3-year driving abstract
- Ability to pass a DCYF background check
- Availability for evenings and weekends as needed
- Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
Independent Contractor Requirements (Washington State Compliant):
- Operate as an independently established business (LLC or equivalent strongly preferred)
- Maintain all required state and local business licenses
- Submit a completed W-9 prior to providing services
- Maintain personal responsibility for all taxes, insurance, and business expenses
- Maintain commercial auto insurance as required by agency policy
- Provide necessary tools, supplies, and equipment to perform services
Independence & Work Structure:
- Contractors have the ability to accept or decline assignments
- Work is assigned on a per-referral basis and is not guaranteed
- Contractors maintain discretion in how services are delivered, within court and safety requirements
- This role does not establish an employer-employee relationship
