A day in the life
You start on the shop floor, ensuring every task begins and ends with safety. From there, you orchestrate multiple value streams so high-quality products ship on-time and at target cost. You mobilize people, equipment, and materials to meet the plan—and you continuously improve the plan itself.
This role reports to the Manufacturing Manager. The Manufacturing Manager leads a team that includes Value Stream Managers and Production Coordinators and oversees site-wide production performance—safety records, output requirements, defect levels, waste, and work-order attainment.
What you will lead
- Champion EHS, 6S, and a safety-first culture across your value streams.
- Partner with Engineering and Quality to remove waste and elevate process capability.
- Apply Lean and continuous improvement tools to diagnose recurring problems and eliminate root causes.
- Secure the resources to run the value stream—staffing, technical support, maintenance, and all required direct assistance.
- Coordinate with Production Control and production teams to sequence work and achieve the schedule.
- Perform other related duties as required.

- Excellent analytical thinking.
- Robust planning, organization, and administrative capabilities.
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3–5 years of leadership experience required.
- Experience leading other managers desired.
- Engineering degree or equivalent desired.
- Green Belt certification desired.
- Manufacturing management experience in a team-based environment is a plus.
- Project management experience.
