Position Summary
Florida Futbol Academy is seeking passionate, energetic, and knowledgeable Soccer Coaches who are committed to developing players both on and off the field. Coaches are responsible for creating a positive, structured learning environment where athletes improve technically, tactically, physically, and mentally while building confidence and a lifelong love for the game.
Our coaches are educators, mentors, and role models who represent the values and culture of Florida Futbol Academy in every interaction with players and families.
Primary Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate training sessions.
- Teach proper technical skills including:
- Dribbling
- Passing & Receiving
- Shooting & Finishing
- First Touch
- Ball Control
- Defending
- Goalkeeping fundamentals (when applicable)
- Develop players’ tactical understanding of the game.
- Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline, and confidence.
- Provide individualized coaching and constructive feedback.
- Ensure a safe and organized training environment.
- Maintain attendance and communicate with families when necessary.
- Arrive early to prepare equipment and training areas.
- Assist with academy events, camps, clinics, assessments, and special programs.
- Represent Florida Futbol Academy professionally at all times.

Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include:
- Previous coaching or playing experience.
- Strong understanding of soccer fundamentals.
- Ability to effectively teach players of varying ages and skill levels.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
- Ability to lift and move training equipment.
Preferred (not required):
- US Soccer Coaching License
- United Soccer Coaches Diploma
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Background check eligibility
