Assembler Bench I

PRYER Aerospace is hiring for a Full Time Assembler. PRYER Aerospace is a leading provider of structural components, assemblies and kits to the aerospace industry. We specialize in the fabrication of complex sheet metal and machined components for commercial, corporate and military aircraft. 

POSITION SUMMARY: Perform Aerospace assembly processes efficiently per engineering drawings to meet customer requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Set up fixtures/AJ’s for holding parts to be assembled.
• Utilize various hand/power tools to drill, trim and deburr parts as needed for the assembly process.
• Dry/wet installation of fasteners/hardware in aircraft grade materials.
• Paint touch-up and apply Epoxy as needed.
• Organize parts and paperwork for processing and transport to next operation.
• Input data of inventories; Utilize ERP software.
• Support the company and department business goals and objectives for Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety and Attitude (QCDSA).
• Function as a team member and under minimal supervision.

EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Operational knowledge of rivet setting equipment.
• Experience reading blue prints or engineer drawings. Experience using measuring instruments such as gates, micrometers and calipers.
• Experience using basic hand/power tools.
• Basic Quality Assurance requirements and ISO Awareness.
