Job Purpose
Responsible for handling the day-to-day functions of devotional and spiritual counseling.
Key Responsibilities
Completion of a Master’s degree from an accredited theological school/seminary. Appropriate endorsement within his/her denomination. Completion of 1-4 units in Clinical Pastoral Education.
Minimum Experience Required
Two (2) years of ministerial experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Assesses the spiritual needs/concerns of patients and families by direct communication with the individuals, by communication with the patient’s clergy, or by information obtained by other personnel.
- Provides consultation, education, and support for other members of the Healthcare center and the community.
- Assists with volunteer training as requested.
- Conducts one-on-one visitation with residents.
- Conducts memorial services as needed.
- Counsels residents and families when death is imminent.
- Leadership of worship services.
- Conducts devotional times.
