Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) based in New Bern, NC. The Certified Nursing Aide will provide high-quality, compassionate patient care, including assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding. Additional responsibilities include ensuring patient comfort, maintaining a clean and safe environment, monitoring vital signs, and following care plans under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. The CNA will play a key role in fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere for patients and families.
Qualifications
- Proficient in patient care assistance, such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support
- Strong skills in monitoring and recording vital signs and implementing care plans
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for fostering patient and family relationships
- Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and organized care environment
- Active Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) certification, recognized in the state of North Carolina
- Compassionate, detail-oriented, and flexible in responding to patient needs
- Previous experience in skilled nursing, hospice, or a similar healthcare environment is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
