Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Commercial Wallpaper Installer to prepare wall surfaces, install commercial wallcoverings, and perform repairs. This role also supports coordinating daily work activities and ensuring all installations meet industry standards. Significant travel is required based on project locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install commercial wallcoverings and perform required wall prep work.
- Lead, coordinate, and schedule wallpaper installation activities as needed.
- Inspect work in progress to ensure quality standards and accuracy.
- Operate hand and power tools safely.
- Maintain tools, materials, and accurate job records.
- Train and guide wallpaper team members when assigned.
- Communicate professionally with supervisors, team members, and clients.
- Follow all safety, compliance, and company policies.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proven experience installing commercial wallpaper.
- Skilled in hand‑trimming fabric wallcoverings.
- Experience with wall prep, painting, and sheetrock finishing.
- Ability to follow instructions, read scopes of work, and work independently or with a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods; occasional bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to use hands for handling tools and materials.
- Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and elevated surfaces.
Work Environment
- On‑site occupied commercial healthcare installation environments.
- Travel required up to 80% depending on project needs.
