What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Dentist position at Pruitt & Earp Dentistry?
The ideal associate will work 3 days a week in Plymouth and one day a week in Greenville. We are open two Friday's a month and that is an option to work too. The Plymouth office is composed of two doctors rooms with two hygiene rooms with an average revenue of 1.2 million a year.
Plymouth is a town right off the Roanoke River. It's about 50 minutes from Greenville, NC and an hour to the outer banks. It's ideal for someone who likes day trips to North Carolina coastal communities and other outdoor activities. NC outer banks is world known for great off shore fishing and near by Hyde county is world known for duck and bear hunting.
Our office provides patients with a wide spectrum of dental treatments and we are looking to hire an Associate Dentist who is capable of and confident in performing routine and complex dental procedures. Our company consist of four dentist between the two offices which makes it ideal for a dentist that's confident and just getting started in their career. Our experienced providers are here to provide support and guide you to become more confident in yourself so that you can become the dentist you want to be.
The treatment you will provide is based on how confident you are in different areas of dentistry. The associate dentist’s responsibilities include developing suitable treatment plans for patients and treating those patient's accordingly. Our company focuses on strong team work and creating a great work environment for staff and patients.
Associate Dentist Responsibilities:
- Providing high quality dental treatments to patients across all areas of general dentistry in which you are comfortable.
- Effectively diagnosing and educating patients on the importance of dental treatment and hygiene practices.
- Performing oral cancer screenings.
Associate Dentist Requirements:
- Experience is desired but willing to consider a skilled new graduate.
- Doctor of dental surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in dentistry (DMD).
- State license to practice dentistry and in good standing with NC Dental board.
- Yearly CE allowance
- Active DEA license.
- CPR certification.
- Proven experience working in a dental practice.
- The ability to work in a team.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Excellent communication skills.
