Duties

• Assist customers with selecting meat products and answer their questions confidently and courteously
• Prepare and package meat products according to quality standards and food safety regulations
• Maintain cleanliness by following sanitizing procedures for all food handling areas and equipment
• Conduct visual inspections to ensure meat quality, freshness, and proper labeling are maintained
• Manage perishable goods by monitoring expiration dates and proper storage techniques

Requirements

• Previous retail store experience or familiarity with food industry operations preferred
• Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures
• Basic math skills for weighing, pricing, and inventory management
• Ability to perform visual inspection for quality control of perishable goods
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and clear communication abilities
• Ability to stand for extended periods during evening shifts and lift moderate weights safely
