What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Mechanic position at Prudential Overall Supply?
With over 90 years of industry leadership, Prudential Overall Supply is a trusted provider in uniform and textile rental services. We are currently seeking an entry-level Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, hands-on individual looking to grow their career in industrial maintenance within a stable and team-oriented environment.
What You’ll Do
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production equipment and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and welding issues.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and complete work orders.
- Support special projects, including off-shift or weekend work as needed
- Complete additional duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical, plumbing, and welding.
- Experience with industrial laundry equipment is preferred (washers, dryers, tumblers, pressers).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to follow cleanroom gowning, contamination control, and safety procedures.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
