As part of the Strategy & Integration team, the Manager, Communications Insights will report to the VP, Insights & Governance and help make measurement a more practical management tool for Communications. This role is a strong fit for an analytical storyteller with a consultative approach, strong attention to detail, dashboard discipline and the ability to translate data into clear recommendations. The role will manage analytics, reporting and dashboard development to improve data quality, accelerate insight generation and help teams prioritize better, identify risks faster and demonstrate Communications impact more clearly.

The current employee work arrangement for this position is hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.

What You Can Expect

• Measurement and Reporting: Manage recurring analytics, dashboards and reporting views that track communications performance, sentiment, coverage, engagement, and emerging trends.
• Data Quality and Integration: Collect, clean and connect data from media, social, employee sentiment, channel performance and other sources to create more consistent and reliable reporting.
• Dashboard Development: Build and improve Power BI, Tableau or similar dashboards that make intelligence and performance signals easier to access, interpret and use.
• Insight-to-Action Storytelling: Translate trends, anomalies and performance signals into clear implications, recommended actions and planning inputs for Communications teams.
• Reporting Automation: Improve efficiency by automating recurring data collection, reporting and dashboard refresh processes wherever possible.
• Issue Escalation Support: Identify unusual sentiment, coverage or performance patterns and escalate potential reputational or execution risks to the Director, Intelligence Strategy and VP, Intelligence and Policies.
• Tool and Process Improvement: Serve as a power user for measurement, monitoring and listening platforms, helping improve reporting automation, user guidance and adoption of analytics tools.
  
  

What You’ll Need

• 5–7 years of experience in data analytics, communications measurement, digital marketing analytics, media analytics, dashboard development or related performance reporting roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Marketing, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Communications or a related field.
• Strong analytical and technical skills, including experience collecting, cleaning, structuring and interpreting data from multiple sources.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong working knowledge of Power BI, Tableau or similar visualization tools; experience building dashboards, recurring reports and performance views.
• Working knowledge of media monitoring, social listening, sentiment analysis, channel performance and communications measurement methods.
• Strong data storytelling skills, with the ability to translate trends, anomalies and performance signals into clear implications and recommended actions for communications teams.
• High attention to detail, data accuracy and quality control, with the ability to manage multiple reporting deliverables, timelines and stakeholder needs.

What We Offer You

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $114,500.00 to $188,900.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
