Role Description
We are seeking a full-time, on-site Security Officer to join our team in Chicagoland area. The Security Officer will oversee property patrols, monitor surveillance equipment, manage visitor and contractor access, and maintain a secure environment while adhering to established safety protocols. Daily responsibilities include responding to incidents, preparing reports, assisting individuals in need, and collaborating with team members to ensure safety and compliance with all regulations.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years experience in surveillance, property patrol, and access control
- Active PERC Card with 20 hour certificate
- Ability to identify, assess, and respond to security risks
- Proficient in drafting clear and detailed incident and activity reports
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor with the ability to interact with visitors, tenants, and staff effectively
- Knowledge of safety protocols, emergency response, and regulatory compliance requirements
