Plumbing Engineer (EIT or PE) Design the Systems That Keep Buildings Flowing

We are seeking a motivated plumbing engineer (EIT or PE) with experience in MEP engineering to join a collaborative engineering team focused on innovative and sustainable building systems.

This role offers the opportunity to work on educational, commercial, and institutional projects while gaining exposure to the full project lifecycle—from design through construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and documentation of plumbing systems, including
• Domestic water systems
• Sanitary waste systems
• Storm drainage systems
• Fire protection systems
• Perform engineering calculations and support development of AutoCAD and Revit drawings
• Review RFIs, shop drawings, and technical submittals related to plumbing systems
• Conduct field observations and site visits to ensure installations align with design intent
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver high-quality construction documents

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (F.E.) exam
• EIT certified or eligible for EIT certification
• Minimum 3 years of MEP experience
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a collaborative environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with:
• AutoCAD
• Revit
• Bluebeam
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of:
• Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC)
• NFPA standards
• Water distribution systems
• Drainage systems
• Gas systems
• Fire protection systems
• Previous MEP consulting experience preferred
