Junior Development Engineer

This position is fully remote - however, the applicant must reside in the metropolitan area (which includes New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and/or Pennsylvania) for occasional visits to our manufacturing facility in Landing, NJ

We are looking for a Junior Development Engineer to join our software development team. In this role, you collaborate with other developers and engineers to design computer applications and programs and administer Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM. You should also be comfortable using .Net and other common frameworks to develop software for various platforms. You will be collaborating on and learning SAGE X3 ERP development as part of your role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide user support and troubleshooting for Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM
• Assist in the daily support, administration, and maintenance of Sage X3 ERP, ensuring smooth and efficient system performance
• Collaborate with other developers and engineers to design, build, and maintain applications
• Build applications for various platforms using common frameworks, including .Net
• Write and debug code
• Troubleshoot software issues
• Help monitor, manage, and maintain system data using Microsoft SQL, including basic queries and reporting
• Collaborate with senior team members to resolve technical issues and implement best practices
• Participate in data entry, system documentation, and reporting initiatives
• Learn and assist with user roles, permissions, and process optimization
• Engage in training programs to deepen your understanding of ERP/CRM systems and data workflows

Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365
• 1 3 years of experience in Software Development, ERP, CRM, or business systems roles
• Exposure to Sage X3 or similar ERP software preferred
• Knowledge of databases and SQL
• Knowledge of Power BI, Power Automate, or data analysis/reporting tools
• A strong desire to grow technical skills within Microsoft Dynamics 365 and learn to work with Sage X3
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Solid communication and collaboration abilities

Bonus Skills (Preferred but Not Required):

• Experience with Microsoft 365 and general IT troubleshooting
