What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse (RN) position at PRSC?
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to work in our busy ambulatory surgery center. The RN will be responsible for the delivery of patient care from admission to discharge, which includes circulating in the OR and providing conscious sedation when prescribed. This position allows for flexible scheduling with no nights, weekend, or holiday requirements. Previous OR experience preferred, but not required. Applicant must have an active RN license in the state of California. Must be BLS and ACLS certified.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Current RN license in CA
- ACLS, BLS
- Preferred- conscious sedation and/or OR experience
- Ability to clearly communicate with interdisciplinary team, applies policies and holds patient safety at upmost importance
- Strong critical thinking, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills
- Works well to support the team and promotes a positive work environment
- Has a desire to learn!
- Flexible availability required. Typical working hours are M-F 6am-2pm (variable, depending on the surgery schedule)
