What are the responsibilities and job description for the Web Designer and Developer position at PRP Aviation, LLC?
Location: Remote or On-Site (Ocala, FL)
We’re a high-growth aircraft charter and flight training company transforming private aviation. Our team is expanding fast, and we’re on a mission to make private air travel faster, smarter, and more seamless than ever before. Now, we’re looking for a Web Developer (or Full-Stack Engineer) who can take our website and internal systems to the next level — through smart automation, beautiful design, and scalable solutions.
Right now, many of our key processes — such as sending charter quotes and booking confirmations — are manual. We're looking for someone who can automate and streamline these systems so we can scale with efficiency and style.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Developing a custom online quote request system on our website
- Automatically generating aircraft charter quotes based on client inputs (such as route, date, aircraft type)
- Sending automated emails with the quote to the client once submitted
- Triggering automated booking confirmation emails when a client accepts a quote
- Making the user experience smooth, premium, and on-brand
- Ensuring the website is responsive, fast, secure, and easy to use
- Collaborating with our team to iterate quickly based on real-world use
As we grow, we also want to replace our current scheduling platform (Flight Schedule Pro) with a custom-built software tailored to our needs. This system should:
- Track aircraft availability, maintenance, and usage
- Manage instructor availability and schedules
- Store and manage client information and booking history
- Allow online flight training and charter reservations
- Generate reports and internal alerts for scheduling conflicts or aircraft status
If you’re interested in building something from the ground up — this is your opportunity.
What We're Looking For:- Strong experience in web development (frontend backend)
- Proficient in automating workflows and email triggers (e.g. using APIs, Zapier, custom code, etc.)
- Experience with databases, booking systems, and/or quote calculators
- Strong UI/UX sensibility with an eye for clean, luxury-brand design
- Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and build scalable systems
- Bonus: Experience in aviation, travel tech, or logistics platforms
- Bonus: Familiarity with tools like Flight Schedule Pro and ideas to improve on it
- Type: Contract / Freelance (with potential to grow into a full-time role or long-term project lead)
- Location: Remote or On-Site (Ocala, FL preferred)
- Start Date: ASAP
Send us your portfolio, resume, and a short intro about your experience and approach to building systems like this. Bonus if you include examples of relevant work.
