This is a full-time, on-site role located in Charlotte, NC for a Safety Manager - Traveling. The Safety Manager will oversee and implement occupational health and safety programs, conduct safety inspections, provide safety training, and ensure organizational compliance with EHS regulations. Additional responsibilities include performing accident investigations, creating safety reports, and collaborating with teams to promote industrial safety practices. This role also requires travel to various worksite locations to provide guidance and support as needed.
- Strong background in Occupational Health and Industrial Safety
- Experience in conducting Safety Training and Accident Investigations
- Knowledge of Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) principles and regulatory compliance
- Track record of implementing and maintaining safety management systems
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively on-site and during travel
- Relevant certifications in safety management or EHS (e.g., CSP, OSHA certifications) are highly desirable
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred
