Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and document validation protocols for manufacturing equipment, processes, and systems in accordance with industry standards such as ISO 9001 and GMP guidelines.
- Perform root cause analysis to identify issues affecting process performance or product quality, then implement effective corrective actions.
- Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, and Schematics to design or modify validation fixtures, tooling, or process layouts.
- Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs), robotics, CNC machines, and industrial automation systems to optimize manufacturing workflows.
- Conduct engineering data analysis to evaluate process capability, validate process improvements, and support continuous improvement initiatives like Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project scheduling, risk assessments, and project management activities to meet production timelines.
- Support factory experience by participating in assembly line validation, welding inspections, vision inspection systems setup, and fabrication processes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards through validation of industrial equipment such as CNC machines, vision systems, and industrial automation tools.
- Assist in the development of process engineering documentation including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), schematics, and technical drawings.
- Lead or support factory audits related to ISO 9001 certification and other regulatory requirements to maintain high-quality standards.
Experience
- Proven experience practicing in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role within a factory setting.
- Strong background in manufacturing processes including plastics injection molding, assembly line operations, tooling fabrication, and industrial automation.
- Hands-on experience with project scheduling tools and project management in a manufacturing environment.
- Skilled in engineering troubleshooting across mechanical systems, robotics, CNC programming (CAM), and vision inspection systems.
- Familiarity with Lean management principles and Six Sigma practices for process optimization.
- Knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo; experience with schematics creation is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with experience in fabrication techniques like welding and tooling setup.
- Ability to analyze large datasets related to manufacturing performance using engineering data analysis methods.
- Experience working with industrial equipment adhering to ISO 9001 standards; understanding of GD&T principles is advantageous.

Pay: $41.28 - $49.71 per hour
