Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Validation Engineer to join our dynamic manufacturing and engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality, reliability, and compliance of our industrial equipment and processes. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement initiatives, support product development, and uphold rigorous validation standards across manufacturing operations. Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and document validation protocols for manufacturing equipment, processes, and systems in accordance with industry standards such as ISO 9001 and GMP guidelines.
  • Perform root cause analysis to identify issues affecting process performance or product quality, then implement effective corrective actions.
  • Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, and Schematics to design or modify validation fixtures, tooling, or process layouts.
  • Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs), robotics, CNC machines, and industrial automation systems to optimize manufacturing workflows.
  • Conduct engineering data analysis to evaluate process capability, validate process improvements, and support continuous improvement initiatives like Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project scheduling, risk assessments, and project management activities to meet production timelines.
  • Support factory experience by participating in assembly line validation, welding inspections, vision inspection systems setup, and fabrication processes.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards through validation of industrial equipment such as CNC machines, vision systems, and industrial automation tools.
  • Assist in the development of process engineering documentation including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Lead or support factory audits related to ISO 9001 certification and other regulatory requirements to maintain high-quality standards.

Experience

  • Proven experience practicing in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role within a factory setting.
  • Strong background in manufacturing processes including plastics injection molding, assembly line operations, tooling fabrication, and industrial automation.
  • Hands-on experience with project scheduling tools and project management in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skilled in engineering troubleshooting across mechanical systems, robotics, CNC programming (CAM), and vision inspection systems.
  • Familiarity with Lean management principles and Six Sigma practices for process optimization.
  • Knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo; experience with schematics creation is preferred.
  • Mechanical knowledge combined with experience in fabrication techniques like welding and tooling setup.
  • Ability to analyze large datasets related to manufacturing performance using engineering data analysis methods.
  • Experience working with industrial equipment adhering to ISO 9001 standards; understanding of GD&T principles is advantageous.

Pay: $41.28 - $49.71 per hour
