Summary
Provost and Pritchard is excited to welcome a motivated and detail-oriented Roofing Quality Assurance Technician to our growing team. In this role, you will be out in the field conducting on-site inspections of commercial roofing systems, ensuring installations are completed correctly, meet project specifications, and follow industry standards. We are seeking someone with solid roofing experience, strong technical skills, and a genuine passion for delivering high-quality work.
- Conduct on-site observations and inspections of roofing projects, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and best practices
- Conduct inspections of existing roofs to identify issues
- Provide daily written reports with photographic documentation of field observations
- Monitor roofing systems during installation
- Assist in identifying deficiencies and recommending corrective actions
- Serve clients in Fresno, Madera, Tulare, Kings, and Kern Counties, with occasional travel throughout California based on project needs.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in commercial roofing
- RRO Certification (Registered Roof Observer) from IBEC – Preferred, but not required.
- Experience with single-ply and SPF roofing systems
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and submittals
- Proficient with laptop use and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Technical capabilities and experience using AutoCAD a Plus
- Strong written communication and documentation skills
- Experience with infrared and capacitance moisture surveys
- Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable working at heights and climbing scaffolding/ladders regularly
