Revolution Ice Centre is seeking a driven and customer focused Operations Manager to lead daily operations while aggressively growing revenue through sales, marketing, and program development. This role requires someone who is equally strong in business growth and hands on customer service leadership.
This is not a desk role. The Operations Manager must be highly visible in the facility, actively engaging with customers, leading staff, and driving sales. Ice skating or sports facility experience is a plus but not required.
Nights and weekends are required.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Growth
- Drive revenue growth across all programs including public skating, learn to skate, hockey programs, camps, parties, rentals, and special events
- Actively sell ice time, group outings, school programs, and corporate events
- Build and maintain relationships with schools, youth organizations, teams, and local businesses
- Identify new revenue opportunities and improve ice utilization
Marketing and Promotion
- Lead marketing efforts including social media, email campaigns, promotions, and community partnerships
- Position Revolution Ice Centre as the premier ice sports and entertainment destination in the region
Customer Experience and Service
- Serve as the face of the facility with a strong presence during operating hours
- Handle customer concerns and ensure high service standards
- Drive customer retention and repeat business through communication and follow up
Staff Leadership and Scheduling
- Hire, train, schedule, and manage a primarily seasonal and younger workforce
- Set expectations for professionalism accountability and service excellence
- Manage labor efficiency and scheduling
Facility Operations
- Oversee daily operations ensuring safety cleanliness and smooth execution
- Coordinate contractors and vendors for maintenance and facility projects
Qualifications Required
- Proven sales and growth experience
- Strong customer service leadership
- Experience managing people and schedules
- Excellent communication organization and follow up skills
- Ability and willingness to work nights and weekends
Preferred
- Sports facility fitness center or entertainment venue management experience
- Ice skating or hockey background

Compensation
- Performance based incentives tied to growth and customer experience

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
