What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Manager - Fintech position at Provn?
Provn is hiring a Product Manager for a fintech platform building the financial operating system for trucking carriers. Recently acquired by the leading freight marketplace (with over $1 trillion in transactions on it), the team is 40 people combining startup agility with the customer base and infrastructure of an industry leader.
Comp: $135K-$188K base target bonus. Hybrid in Seattle.
The platform replaces the exorbitant rates, hidden fees, and long contracts that carriers deal with today by putting invoicing, factoring, accounting, and banking in one place built specifically for their business. This role drives growth and monetization across that core platform. It's a high-ownership IC seat reporting to the Director of Product, Fintech & Payments.
What you'll be doing:
- Shaping the product roadmap across invoicing, factoring, and banking, making the platform faster, smarter, and more valuable for carriers
- Leading feature development end to end with engineering and design, from discovery and scoping through launch and iteration
- Developing a deep understanding of how carriers actually run their financial workflows through customer interviews, data, and hands-on research
- Driving platform and integration initiatives that expand capabilities and push the product toward becoming the financial operating system for carriers
- Partnering with risk and underwriting, sales, support, and operations to find workflow inefficiencies and build tooling that improves how the team serves customers
- Applying AI and automation to reduce manual work and scale operations without scaling headcount
- Defining and tracking metrics that reflect platform health and customer value, using data to inform what to build next
What we're looking for:
- 4-6 years of product management experience with demonstrated ownership of growth, monetization, or core product areas
- Self-starter mindset, comfortable with ambiguity and driving initiatives to completion without waiting to be asked
- Strong analytical skills, fluent in data, and able to use it to prioritize, measure impact, and tell a clear story to stakeholders
- Experience in or alongside a small, fast-moving team where execution matters as much as strategy
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to bring cross-functional partners along without slowing down
- Comfort navigating a startup within a larger organization
- Fluency with AI tools in day-to-day work, plus a track record of driving AI and automation into the products you build
- Bonus points for fintech, payments, banking, or logistics experience, and for SQL or other data querying skills
Comp: $135K-$188K base target bonus. Hybrid in Seattle.
Must be authorized to work in the US. No visa sponsorship.
