Job Description

We are seeking a professional and skilled Special Assets Representative to join a leading Credit Union on a long term temporary basis. Assignment anticipated to last approximately 6 months.

The Special Assets Representative is responsible for effectively working delinquent loan accounts, overdrawn accounts, repossessions, asset recover and bankruptcies to ensure the best possible outcome for both parties.

Wage - $22.94/hour

Duties Include:

• Manage collection ques by taking initial foreclosure action, completing bankruptcy filings, issuing repossession, monitoring asset liquidation and charge off recommendations.
• Manage asset recovery by completing necessary legal work, referring accounts to outside collections.
• Providing exceptional member service by maintaining a positive, professional relationships with members while discussing sensitive, personal financial circumstances.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum one year financial industry experience including frontline or lending.
• Prior collections experience preferred
• Excellent computer skills
• Excellent communications skills
