What are the responsibilities and job description for the Smart Home Technician position at Provision Smart Security?
Provision Smart Security is seeking installation technicians to join our team!
We operate 9-5 Monday through Friday, with some variability on special projects. Experience with surveillance installation is mandatory for this particular listing.
$25/Hour from the start, as you exhibit the skills necessary to carry out a surveillance system installation from beginning to end.
$30/hour as soon as we know definitively that you can be the leader of the two-man team we send out to a standard job.
We give raises without hesitation once these levels of expertise take place.
The right person for this position would:
- Be OK with heights up to 15 feet
- Have the ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Be in good enough physical condition for necessary labor and attic mobility
- Be consistently reliable for hours, work ethic, and quality of work
- Have their own mode of transportation; preferably a truck or something that can at least hold a ladder and small tools
- The creativity and problem-solving skills to envision and implement a wiring strategy (once you learn the tricks of the trade)

A standard work day looks like running cat5e wiring from a number of camera locations back to a central area where the surveillance recording device will be located. Every job is a challenge and no two days are the same.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
