Role Description
This is a full-time, hybrid Project Estimator role based in Denison, TX, with the flexibility to work from home part-time. The Project Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for electrical construction projects, which includes analyzing project requirements, developing accurate budgets, and coordinating with project managers. Day-to-day responsibilities involve reviewing blueprints, gathering pricing from suppliers, collaborating with project managers, and ensuring quotes align with customer needs and organizational cost objectives. We currently have one license for Accubid Classic and looking for a qualified person willing to work with us as we grow.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Construction Estimating, Project Estimation, and Cost Management, ensuring accuracy in project costs and budgeting.
- Strong Budgeting expertise with the ability to develop and manage project budgets effectively.
- Excellent Communication skills for effectively collaborating with general contractors, suppliers, and project managers.
- Detail-oriented with an understanding of electrical systems and relevant industry standards.
- Knowledge of safety standards and best practices for electrical projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Experience in Accubid Classic estimating software.
- Must hold a current journeyman electrical license.
