Role Description The Coffee Roaster is a full-time, on-site role based in Milford, MI, responsible for roasting coffee to established profiles and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include operating roasting equipment, monitoring roast curves, logging production data, and adjusting profiles to maintain consistent flavor and quality. The role involves performing quality control cuppings, evaluating roast batches, and collaborating with the team to refine blends and single-origin offerings. The Coffee Roaster will also assist with green coffee intake, inventory management, and preparation of roasted coffee for packaging and shipment. Regular communication with the production and sales teams, maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Coffee Roasting and Specialty Coffee, including understanding roast profiles, origins, and flavor development.
- Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control, including cupping, sensory evaluation, and maintaining consistent product standards.
