Physician Assistant General Surgery

Providence Medical Foundation is seeking a full-time General Surgery physician assistant to join its well-established team in Fullerton, California. Located at a large hospital with 13 OR suites, you will be part of a General Surgery and multi-specialty integrated department with subspecialty care in Thyroid Surgery, General and Robotic General Surgery, Upper GI, Endocrinology and Hepatobiliary Surgery. Your focus will primarily be on first assist/OR in Surgery. Additionally, the facility itself has a fully integrated cancer center, an Advanced Oncology and GI department, as well as a very busy world-class robotics program. Join St. Jude Heritage Medical Group and serve patients throughout Southern California. * Full-time position; General Surgery focus * Monday to Friday schedule with some extended hours as needed * The role consists of approximately 70% OR time and 30% clinic time * Surgeries will be performed at St. Jude in Fullerton or a nearby ASC, as well as in-office procedures * Join a team of 3 physician assistants and 8 surgeons * First assist/OR experience is highly preferred; new graduates will be considered * Compensation is between $174,238 and $227,247 per year * The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and may include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, hospital/ED call stipends, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer.
