Nurse Practitioner Palliative Care

Providence Medical Group is seeking a full-time nurse practitioner to join its inpatient Palliative Care team in Anchorage, Alaska. This is an exceptional opportunity to practice alongside a highly collaborative interdisciplinary team focused on improving the quality of life for patients with chronic and life-altering illnesses. The team works closely with inpatient providers, outpatient palliative care clinicians, nursing staff, social workers, case managers and chaplains to provide seamless, patient-centered care. Position Details: * Full-time position * 4, 10-hour shifts schedule * Opportunity for flexibility in schedule Compensation & Benefits: * Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits * 40 CME hours and $5,000 annual CME allowance * Up to $25,000 in relocation assistance * 264 hours of paid time off annually Qualifications & Requirements: * 1 to 3 years of experience is preferred * Experience leading family meetings and goals-of-care conversations * Knowledge of symptom management * Experience in medication management, serious illness communication, and end-of-life care * Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including patients, physicians, faculty, residents, nursing staff, social workers, case managers, chaplains, and other healthcare professionals **Where You’ll Work** Providence Medical Group - Alaska is a multi-specialty group with 70 physicians and advanced-practice clinicians serving greater Anchorage and the Matanuska-Susitna Valley.
