General Cardiologist

Seeking a full-time, board-eligible/board-certified General Cardiologist to join a top-notch, highly skilled team of fourteen cardiologists and three cardiothoracic surgeons at the Providence Heart Institute of Montana, located in the Providence St. Patrick Hospital. This 253-bed Level II trauma center has received the Premier Award for quality for Acute Myocardial Infarction as well as the Gold Seal of Approval for Stroke Centers. Ideal candidate will be motivated, compassionate and have an excellent background in both training and clinical experience. Sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and loan repayment plans available. Enjoy unparalleled quality of life in the beautiful and welcoming city of Missoula, the heart of scenic Western Montana. * Formal training and expertise in echocardiography required * Nuclear cardiology background a plus * Responsibilities will include reading echo (including TEE) * Opportunity for Cardiac CT * Mix of inpatient and outpatient. Cardiology is primarily a consultant service. 24-hour Hospitalist coverage * Desirable Monday to Friday with 4/10-hour shifts schedule with 1:7 call once fully staffed * One designated outreach clinic location * Full APP support weekdays and weekends. APP is first on call during the week * Minimal call burden with essentially telephone call only after hours. * Dedicated imaging days compromising of echos, nuc, CT * Dedicated TEE days * Clinic 12-16 patients daily * Opportunity for specialty clinics if interested, ie.
