What are the responsibilities and job description for the Epileptologist position at Provider Solutions & Development?
The Providence Brain & Spine Institute (PBSI) is seeking a full-time Epileptologist to join the Providence Epilepsy Center. The new physician will become part of a certified Level 4 Epilepsy Center, providing care at two major hub hospitals in Portland, collaborating with a team of neurosurgeons, and supporting extensive ongoing clinical trials and epidemiologic research.
Providence Brain & Spine Institute is a renowned neuroscience center focused on leading neurological care models and clinical research. The Institute specializes in stroke and acute rehab, neurosurgical and orthopedic care, and treatment of MS, dementia, ALS and epilepsy. Partnered with the broader Providence Medical Group, caregivers work directly with providers to identify clinical trials appropriate for a patient’s specific type and stage of disease to help improve health and quality of life.
