Essential Duties & Responsibilities Accountabilities
· Effectively answers incoming calls and monitors online platforms to ensure timely and appropriate support.
· Assesses callers for suicide risk.
· Delivers services by establishing and maintaining rapport, assessing caller needs, developing a safety plan, and documenting each call.
· Provides necessary support and resources, as needed.
· Follows-up with callers who have expressed thoughts of suicide.
· Participates in monthly supervision for one hour with assigned supervisor.
· Maintains clinical skill set by completing monthly online trainings as assigned by leadership team.
Work Conditions and Environment
· This role is considered an Hourly, Shift position. Shifts include: 7am-11am, 11am-3pm, 3pm-7pm, 7pm-11pm, 11pm-3am, and 3am-7am / This position requires a minimum of 8 hours of weekend shifts (Friday 7pm – Monday 3am)
· This is a hybrid position which allows the employee to work in the crisis room or from home. In the event of technological problems at employee’s home, the employee must work from the crisis room.
Salary : $20 - $22
