About the Role
At Provident Healthcare, we are seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager with Behavioral Health / Substance Use Disorder (SUD) experience to join our growing team. This is a vital role within our organization focused on Behavioral Health and Addiction Services.

This position is 70% hands-on billing and 30% team management.
Responsibilities
• Prepare and submit accurate claims to insurance companies for processing (primary focus: Medicaid / substance abuse billing; commercial insurance billing to follow)
• Post insurance ERAs and EOBs to patient accounts
• Reconcile accounts receivable statements as needed
• Update and maintain resident accounts
• Collaborate closely with 2 UR staff on collections and verification, as well as external vendors, insurance representatives, and other third parties
• Stay current on billing regulations, payer policy updates, and industry best practices

Qualifications
• Minimum 3–5 years of SUD billing experience (Medicare and Medicaid required)
• Behavioral health billing experience in Indiana and/or Iowa preferred
• Proficiency with Point Click Care, Waystar, and/or Availity billing systems
• Available to work US business hours (fully remote position)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional attitude and strong work ethic
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently while recognizing when to seek support
