Ultrasound Technologist – Emergency Department

We are seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a Per Diem position in a Freestanding Emergency Department.

Responsibilities

• Operate and provide high-quality sonography and X-ray services for diagnostic and treatment purposes.
• Perform patient care activities such as vital signs, EKGs, wound care, and orthopedic splinting.
• Maintain clinical skills, quality assurance, and competencies under supervision.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring professional communication and adherence to policies.
  
  

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Ultrasound Technology Training Program.
• Associate's Degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent education/experience.
• National Certification from ARDMS or equivalent upon hire.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Radiologic Technologist certification, such as Washington Radiologic Technologist or ARRT Radiography.
• At least one year of medical sonography experience or registry eligibility.
