Role: Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) providing specialized patient care in a telemetry unit.
Responsibilities include: Monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms and vital signs, administering treatments and medications, supporting cardiac procedures, assessing patient safety and comfort, documenting health status, responding to emergencies, educating patients on cardiac health, collaborating with healthcare teams, and ensuring safety and compliance with protocols.
Qualifications: At least one year of recent telemetry nursing experience, valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications. Preferred certifications include PCCN and NIHSS. Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, excellent communication, and proficiency in technical and interpersonal skills are essential. Physical ability to perform necessary tasks and work effectively with a team is required.
