Lead Medical Laboratory Scientist

Role Overview: Lead daily laboratory operations while conducting clinical testing. Ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient laboratory performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily laboratory activities and clinical test execution.
• Assign, review, and monitor staff work to ensure quality and adherence to procedures.
• Monitor quality control processes and verify instrument/equipment performance.
• Maintain adequate supplies and keep procedure manuals current and accessible.
• Train, evaluate, and support staff competency to maintain technical proficiency.
• Support regulatory accreditation efforts and maintain readiness for audits.
• Investigate quality issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.
• Communicate findings, updates, and escalations with clinicians and laboratory leadership.
