**Description** Telemetry Technician - North Telemetry at Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, CA. This position is Full Time and will work 12-hour, Day shifts. Performs cardiac telemetry monitoring and arrhythmia detection through continuous observation of the Central Monitoring system as a primary job responsibility and performs department clerical duties as a collateral responsibility. Coursework/Training Required to either have completed the “Basic Arrythmia” course or have demonstrated experience in rhythm interpretation. Coursework/Training Will require applicants to complete ECG test prior to job offer being extended. Coursework/Training Will be enrolled in an internally-developed online course as part of orientation. Coursework/Training Will have periodic competency assessment. Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association **Preferred Qualifications:** H.S.
