**Description** Surgical Technician - Surgery at Providence St. Jude Medical Center, Fullerton, CA. This position is Full time and will work 10-hour, Day shifts. As a member of the surgical team, under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse Circulator, maintains the operating room sterile field; passes instruments, sutures, and sponges during surgery. Insures that proper aseptic technique is utilized to prevent contamination and infection. Assists the registered nurse with circulating duties. National Certified Surgical Technologist - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
