**Description** The Respiratory Care Services Supervisor (Reports to RT Manager) coordinates the effective functioning of Respiratory Care Services, coordinating daily work flow and maintaining staffing schedules. In addition, participates in the interview process and makes recommendations for hiring, takes part in the disciplinary process with staff, evaluates Respiratory staff utilizing the performance appraisal tool, and is responsible for training and orienting new employees. He or She supports the philosophy, objectives, and policies of the Respiratory Care Services Department and assumes responsibility for the day-to-day operations. Your voice matters here, because we know that to inspire and retain the best people, we must empower them. **Required Qualifications:** Associate's Degree and Graduate of a two year Respiratory Program Or equivalent educ/experience Upon hire: California Respiratory Care Practitioner License Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Within 90 days of hire: National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association Within 90 days of hire: National Provider PALS - American Heart Association Upon hire: RRT credential issued by the National Board of Respiratory Care California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire 5 years of experience in an acute care setting, to include adult critical care. 1 year of Supervisory or lead experience in an acute care setting. **Preferred Qualifications:** Upon hire: EKG competency certified Upon hire: ABG certified Upon hire: Membership in CSRC, AARC, or NBRC 1 year of experience in a Level II or III NICU. **Why Join Providence?** Our best-in-class benefits are uniquely designed to support you and your family in staying well, growing professionally, and achieving financial security.
