Supervisor Food and Nutrition Services

**Description** Supervisor Food and Nutrition Services at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka, CA. This position is Per Diem and will work 8-hour, Day shifts. Under the direction of the Manager, Nutrition, supervises the day-to-day operations with approximately half of the work time spent on the physical running of the Nutrition Services Department. Job duties include, but not limited to: implement policies, procedures and work standards; monitors quality management indicators; supervises production & service staff; ensures departmental staffing, cleanliness, sanitation, tidiness & safety. Assists registered dietitians in supporting the needs of diet office staff. Able to cover production and diet aide shifts, if necessary. Your voice matters here, because we know that to inspire and retain the best people, we must empower them. **Required qualifications:** Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National ServSafe Manager Certification - National Restaurant Association (Vendor Managed) 3 years of experience with therapeutic diets including menu processing and interacting with patients, family members & Nursing staff. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
