What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stretcher Transportation Coordinator/Driver position at Providence?
**Description**
$2,000 hiring bonus for eligible external candidates that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.
This non-emergency medical stretcher driver will pick up and deliver geriatric, frail and/or physically limited PACE participants to and from their destinations, depending upon the individual geriatric participants needs.

**Required Qualifications:**
Coursework/Training Successful completion of defensive driving and passenger assistance training courses within 3 months of hire.
Driving is a necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.
5 years Driving experience.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
2 years Driving experience, which includes:
Driving a large passenger van or small bus.
2 years of experience transporting people with special needs.
1 year Experience in transporting individuals with special mobility needs.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
